Anges Québec announces the appointments of Manon Desmarais and Jo-Ann Hajdamacha

Montreal, may 14, 2015 Anges Québec is pleased to announce two new appointments among its team. Manon Desmarais, who had previously worked on setting up the Anges Québec Professional Development Centre, becomes Vice-President, File Selection and Investment Support, while Jo-Ann Hajdamacha will be in charge of member services and sponsorships.

Manon Desmarais has an Executive MBA from the Université de Sherbrooke and has been involved in financing high-technology businesses for more than 15 years. A member of the Advisory Committee of the Parcours entrepreneurial Rémi-Marcoux and the Institut d’entrepreneuriat Banque Nationale-HEC Montréal, she also taught financing of international projects as lecturer at ÉTS. She sits on the board of directors of the Société de développement économique de Ville-Marie (SDÉVM). Known for her energy, integrity and vast experience, she has helped hundreds of Canadian businesses to stimulate and manage their growth on both a national and international level.

Jo-Ann Hajdamacha has over 25 years of experience in the fields of customer service, corporate secretariat, event management and communications. From 2008 to 2015, she was part of the C4 Communications team, where she was account manager assigned to Réseau Capital, the only venture capital association of all the stakeholders of the investment chain operating in Québec. As head of member services and sponsorships at Anges Québec, she will oversee member enrolment and retention, logistical support and the development and roll-out of partnership strategies and sponsorships.
