Ginette Mailhot appointed chair of Anges Québec Board of directors
Three new members elected: André Bouchard, Christophe Goffoz, and Michel Lozeau
Montreal, November 2, 2017 – Anges Québec is happy to announce the appointment of Ginette Mailhot as chair of the organization’s Board of directors. Ms. Mailhot was nominated on October 11 and will succeed Michel Brûlé, whose two-year term is ending. André Bouchard, Christophe Goffoz, and Michel Lozeau were also elected as board members at Anges Québec’s general assembly on September 13.

Ginette Mailhot has been a member of Anges Québec since 2015. Her remarkable career started in insurance, particularly within Groupe Turquoise where she rose through the ranks to become the president in 2007. She also founded the consulting firm Capital Humain Plus in 2015. Ms. Mailhot is an important and active figure in the Lanaudière business community, holding such positions as chair of the board for Corporation de développement économique de la MRC de Joliette. She also holds an Executive MBA from McGill-HEC Montréal.

Three new board members
Anges Québec would also like to announce the arrival of three new seasoned members on its board of directors: André Bouchard, Christophe Goffoz, and Michel Lozeau. A certified corporate director and chartered professional accountant, André Bouchard has had a long, fruitful career in the construction and manufacturing industry, notably as president and CEO of Supermétal. Christophe Goffoz, a chemical engineer by training, held important positions at various pharmaceutical companies in Europe and Canada before heading up Mallinckrodt’s Canadian commercial operations starting in 2014. Michel Lozeau has been an executive at major companies in the information technology, finance, and management consulting sectors. A graduate of McGill University (B.Com) and participant in the Queen’s University Executive Program, he holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Anges Québec’s members also renewed the terms of Guy Laganière, Geneviève Morin, and Jean-David Saint-Martin for two years; while those of François Gilbert, Marcel Larochelle, and Yves-Laurent Turcotte are still underway.
