Anges Québec Capital appoints new vice president of investments
Pierre Chadi at the helm of a team of seasoned managers
Montreal, October 27, 2015 – The Anges Québec Capital management team welcomes Pierre Chadi, an experienced businessperson and leader in the field of information technology.
In his role as vice president of investments, Mr. Chadi’s main responsibility will be to oversee and prepare the investments made by the Anges Québec Capital Fund and make sure they are properly managed.
As former Eastern Canada director at Microsoft, where he worked for 19 years in business development, he is an important addition to the management team. He has a strong background in coaching, supporting, and directing young IT companies and has helped new entrepreneurs with advice on growth and marketing planning strategies. He has also served as instructor for Anges Québec, where he presented the “Lead Investor” training course to prepare investors in the understanding of their roles in their investment projects.
From a financial point of view, Mr. Chadi has also managed the investment portfolios of six Canadian business software companies, where he held various board of directors positions. Lastly, Pierre Chadi brings extensive communications experience to the table. He served as spokesperson for all Microsoft products and solutions and for the Canadian Alliance Against Software Theft (CAAST) for some 10 years.

Anges Québec Capital is an investment fund set up to financially support the members of Anges Québec. Sponsored primarily by the Quebec government, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, Fonds de solidarité FTQ, and Investissement Québec, the fund supports the angels who invest in innovative Quebec businesses in the seed or startup phase. This joint effort by angels and fund sponsors results in $85 million being made available to entrepreneurs, allowing them to benefit from more substantial financial leverage in order to considerably grow their business.
