Lorne Granofsky

Lorne Granofsky has recently completed a successful 20-year entrepreneurial endeavour – a rags to riches publishing adventure branded Hollywood@home, which started on his kitchen table partnering with the major Hollywood studios to disrupt the traditional business model of home entertainment communications in both English and French Canada. He has meshed his academic credentials (MA Media Management and BCom Marketing) with his professional career, first as a sales manager for a community newspaper chain and then as a corporate marketing executive for a public media conglomerate. Lorne has also had professional experience in franchising and fund-raising, as well as running a US-based trade association. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of his neighborhood food bank and is looking forward to this new phase of his career, mentoring and investing in new start-ups with Anges Quebec.
