A portfolio diversification tool with a tenfold impact
WHO IS THE ELEVIA FUND FOR?
This fund is intended for accredited investors under Regulation 45-106 of the Autorité des marchés financiers who wish to diversify their investment portfolio without becoming actively involved in the investment decisions.
WHY INVEST IN THE ELEVIA FUND?
To gain access to a generally inaccessible asset class
Unlike traditional venture capital funds, which require investments of several hundred thousand dollars, the Elevia Fund provides access to this asset class with a much more affordable entry ticket.
To diversify your portfolio and reduce risk
By investing in 8 to 10 companies per year, the fund enables investors to spread their capital over several startups, optimizing their return opportunities and minimizing risk. You benefit from privileged access to the best deals in which experienced investors have already invested their own capital.
For flexibility and predictability
Unlike traditional venture capital funds, which require long-term commitments, the Elevia Fund operates on an annual cycle. This approach allows investors to renew their commitment each year according to their personal investment objectives.
For its low operating costs
Elevia Fund has a lower fee structure than most venture capital funds. Not only are the fund's operating costs lower, but there is no carry (the percentage retained at exit by fund managers). The only exit fee is a 1% administration fee.
For simplified, regulatory-compliant management
The Elevia Fund is structured as a limited partnership (SEC), offering tax transparency and limited liability to investors. Fund administration is handled by a trusted, specialized external partner acting as GP (general partner) and holding an EMD (exempt market dealer) license, guaranteeing efficient management that complies with Canadian regulations.
