Pedro Herrera

Pedro has been an Investment Associate at Anges Québec since May 2022. He has 8 years of combined experience in basic, preclinical and clinical research, as well as in intellectual property and start-up advisory. He's currently leveraging his multidisciplinary background to support mostly healthtech and medtech deals at Anges Québec.

A biologist by training, Pedro holds a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Columbia University in New York. He began his career at Stemline Therapeutics, a publicly traded oncology company. Subsequently, Pedro was the lead scientist of a IP consulting firm in Colombia, and co-founder of a genetic testing company distributing tests across South America. Prior to joining Anges Quebec, Pedro completed his MBA at HEC Montreal and worked at the Next AI and Creative Destruction Lab accelerators, where he led the development of the supply chain offering, recruited and supported numerous ventures.

Pedro is passionate about technology solutions targeting critical global issues such as healthcare, supply chain and climate change. He is also a certified music producer, bass player and rescue diver.
