Laurent holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University. A serial entrepreneur, he began his entrepreneurial career in 2014 by founding Oatbox, an e-commerce food company that aims to help Canadian families eat healthier breakfasts every morning.
In 2020, he made the leap to medical technology by founding Ditch Labs. Ditch develops the first technological solution to help smokers quit that combines pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy. The company wants to help one billion smokers around the world get rid of their nicotine addiction and thereby prevent the leading cause of preventable death, tobacco use.
Laurent is also actively involved in the business community, notably within the executive committee of Young Canadians in Finance (YCIF) and by being a member of the Saint-Laurent Consortium.
