Roger Gédéon joined Anges Québec as an Investment Associate in June 2024, where he leads dealflow and ecosystem relationships. In his role, Roger is responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, presenting them to the investment committee, and selecting promising ventures for Anges Québec members. He also collaborates closely with key players in the ecosystem, including venture capital funds, startup accelerators, incubators, and innovation centers, to ensure Anges Québec remains a leading force in Quebec’s and Canada’s startup landscape.
Before joining Anges Québec, Roger led the startup recruitment efforts at the Creative Destruction Lab, a mentorship program that supports entrepreneurs in building ventures in AI, supply chain, Web3, and quantum technologies. Prior to that, he was an account manager at Workleap, a Montreal-based tech company that offers software to streamline employee experience and data management.
Born in Lebanon, Roger co-founded 961 Collective, a Montreal-based NGO dedicated to raising funds and awareness for Lebanon-based charities through cultural events. Over the years, the organization has supported numerous causes, including access to education, food security initiatives and decent housing.
Roger holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a concentration in Finance and Management from Concordia University.
