Positioning and Instruments

We lead investment rounds when our expertise, network, and capital can generate tangible value. Otherwise, we frequently co-invest with partners who share our standards and investment philosophy. We generally favor:

We remain open to SAFE/KISS structures when they align with the dynamics of the round and protect all parties involved.

Geography

We are based in Quebec, where our angel investors have deep networks and significant influence within the ecosystem. That is where we have the greatest impact. We also invest selectively outside of Quebec when:

we partner with co-investors who share our values, and
we can add real value to the founders and the funding round.

For us, geography is secondary—trust, alignment, and impact come first.

Priority Sectors

We take a neutral stance on the sector. While many of our angel investors are drawn to technology opportunities, we also see strong interest in life sciences and impact-driven projects. Our evergreen capital model gives us the flexibility and patience needed to support founders over the long term.

Stages and Investment Size

Our angels create the most value at the pre-seed and seed stages, but we also participate in later rounds when there is a strong fit. Typical parameters:

Valuation: CAD $3.0M to CAD $20M

Investment size: CAD $250K to CAD $1.5M
