With more than 20 years of experience in the finance and capital market, Sam had been the President and CFO of Qunar.com during 2010 to 2015. At that time, Sam established several professional teams in charge of finance, legal, and internal auditing, etc., which helped Qunar.com obtain investment of US$ 300 million from Baidu.com in 2011 and successfully go public in Nasdaq in 2013. Presently, Sam holds the post of independent director and chairman of the auditing board of Fang.com (NYSE: SFUN), China Auto Rental (HK:0699) and Yirendai (NYSE: YRD).
Sam graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology and obtained China Certified Public Accountant qualification. Later, he served KPMG, one of the world four largest accounting firms, for 10 years, and engaged in auditing work in China and in the USA. Later, he took various positions including deputy financial manager with Maersk (China) Shipping Co., Ltd. and financial director with Microsoft China R & D Group. Before joining Qunar.com, Sam served as the CFO of Kongzhong.com (Nasdaq: KZ) and took full charge of work relating to finance, law, and investor relations. Sam also wrote a book “Numbers can talk” about auditing theories and practices.
