Louise St-Pierre was President and Chief Executive Officer of Cogeco Connexion from 2013 until 2016. She previously held numerous Vice-President positions within Cogeco Communications Inc.: Senior Vice President, Residential Services, from 2009 to 2013, Vice President, Customer Service and Operations, between 2007 and 2009, Vice President and Chief Information Officer from 1999 to 2007.
Before joining Cogeco, she worked in IT consulting services in Québec, New Brunswick and Alberta, for DMR, after beginning her career at IBM Canada.
Ms. St-Pierre is an administrator on the Board of Directors of the Domaine Forget in Charlevoix since 2012. She is also the Patron/Sponsor of the 2018 McGill-HEC Executive MBA cohort.
She was an administrator on the Board of Directors of the Orchestre symphonique de Trois-Rivières (OSTR) from 2011 to 2015, on the Board of the Burlington Economic Development Corporation (BEDC), from 2011 to 2014, and on the Board of Canadian Women in Communications (WCT) between 2003 and 2007.
In 2015 and again in 2016, she was named among Canada’s Most Powerful Women and received the Top 100 Award by Women’s Executive Network (WXN). In 2012, she received the Leadership Excellence Award from Canadian Women in Communications (WCT), and the Mercure Germaine-Gibara Award from the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec (FCCQ) in 2014, in recognition of her contributions as an outstanding businesswoman.
In 2016, she delivered the Convocation Address at the 49th annual convocation ceremony of the School of Media, Arts & Design, and the School of Continuing Education of the Loyalist College, in Belleville Ontario, and received a Honoris Causa Diploma in recognition of her distinguished career in the Technology and Communications industry.
Ms. St-Pierre holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Business Administration) in Finance and Marketing from McGill University.
