Gyuri (Gyorgy) Karady

In addition to being an investor in the company, Gyuri is also the Director of Strategy and Business Development of CryptTalk (www.crypttalk.com), an enterprise grade, subscription based service that allows its users to make totally secure calls and conference calls on their mobiles, as well as send secure instant messages. He invested in CryptTalk at an early stage, and brought to the company his international business experience from a 35 year career in private equity, venture capital and strategy consulting in the US, France, UK and Emerging Europe (CEE).

Gyuri current has two other early-stage investments:

• FurgeFutar / Allpacka.com, a young Hungarian company that provides the lowest price parcel delivery service in central Europe, and
• Nimbus Tutoring, a Montreal based peer-to-peer in-person tutoring market place.

During his career Gyuri held various investment, operational and management positions at Astorg Partners (F), Julius Baer Capital (US/CH), Baring Private Equity Partners (UK), EBRD (UK), Telesis (F), PwC (F), and Mercer Consulting (US).

Gyuri is a graduate of McGill University (BSc in Honours Physics, 1975; Horace Watson Gold Medal in Physics), and Harvard University (PhD in Engineering - decision analysis, 1980).
